Victoria came to me needing help to run the Virgin London Marathon. Below is what she had to say about her online training experience.
In January Richard devised a training programme to suit me, I am nearly 52 and a bit rickety! We stayed in contact via email, and I found I progressed fairly quickly, every few weeks Richard would “up my game” until I reached the 20 mile goal, we then spent the last few weeks maintaining my fitness, he helped me tremendously with pre Marathon diet etc., the tip of drinking vast quantities of Beetroot juice for a week before, definitely helped, on race day I felt on top of my game. I was able to complete the Marathon comfortably and had no stiffness or side affects the next day, I even managed a 5 mile leg stretch.
This was all down to the amount of preparation Richard had put me through, I would not hesitate to recommend him and I am extremely grateful for all the encouragement and support he gave me.
